Funds for the Forest is a unique opportunity for the citizens of Charlottesville to give support for the numerous tree planting programs in Charlottesville today.

Members of the community can show their love and appreciation for nature while increasing the diversity and beauty of Charlottesville's Urban Forest.  This is a good opportunity to donate a tree in someone's honor.

Donations are tax-deductible and will go to the purchase and planting of trees on public property for everyone's enjoyment.  Limited matched funds are available.

Charlottesville's Urban Forest

Charlottesville's Urban Forest is in your backyard, in your parks, lining your streets.  It's wherever there are trees in Charlottesville.

An Urban Forest needs a little extra help from its human inhabitants in order to thrive.  That's where the Tree Stewardship program comes in.

We hope you'll take this opportunity to get involved in one of our Tree Stewardship programs.  If you would like more information please call (434) 970-3585 or send us an email.  If you would like to make a donation to Funds for the Forest, please make checks payable to the City of Charlottesville and mail them to:
