To reach McIntire Park West (main section of park, contains playground for under age 12, shelters, ball fields and concession stand):
From the Downtown Mall: From the west end of the Mall take McIntire Road north and turn left onto Route 250 Bypass.  The eastern section of the park with the golf course and the Dogwood Vietnam Memorial is visible on the right; continue west on the Bypass for 0.5 mile and the western section of the park will be visible on the right.  Look for the park entrance on the right near the McIntire Park sign before the Fire Station.

From Route 250 and Route 29: Head east on Route 250 Bypass past the Fire Station on the left and look for sign saying "McIntire Park Next Right", turn right onto exit ramp with the sign "Rugby Avenue & McIntire Park Next Right", and proceed to the intersection.  Turn left and follow McIntire Park signs and stay to the right to enter the park.

To reach McIntire Park East (small playground, wading pool, McIntire Golf Course, and Dogwood Vietnam Memorial):
From the Downtown Mall: From the west end of the Mall take McIntire Road north and turn left onto Route 250 Bypass.  The golf course and Dogwood Vietnam Memorial are visible on the right; travel 0.2 mile and look for the playground on the right.  Turn right into the unmarked drive to reach the parking area. 

From Route 250 and Route 29: Head east on Route 250 Bypass past the Fire Station on the left and cross the bridge over the railroad tracks; the playground and parking area will be visible to the left.  Turn left to cross the Bypass and enter near the playground into the unmarked entrance.

From Route 250 and Route 29: Head east on Route 250 Bypass and turn right onto McIntire Road; the skate park is visible to the left.  Proceed past the skate park and at the first traffic light, turn right into the McIntire Business Park.  Turn around and go through the intersection to head north on McIntire Road.  The parking area is accessible via the entrance to the Charlottesville-Albemarle Rescue Squad; enter between the two small white buildings on the right.
